3-Day Diet

I first saw this at Inquirer last 2004. I tried it and nahilo ako! hehe...pinagtatawanan pa ko ng mga colleagues ko nun, namely Mam Weng, Neth, Teedj and nandun na ba si Sasa? nway, yun nga nahilo ako BUT I lost 10 pounds and DI NAKO TUMABA! and now, hirap na hirap nako magpataba (or mag-gain ng weight, huhuhu!).

And ang dami na din nag-ask sakin ng copy nito, pero wala pa ko news if ginawa ba nila, or pumayat nga ba sila when they tried it, or baka na-tigok na (sorry for my word..hehe) when they tried it. Well, for one, a friend tried this and she won the Biggest Loser (weight loss contest) in their company. Basta, here it is, up to you if you'll try and let me know kung effective sa inyo.

First Day:

Breakfast - Black coffee or tea, ½ grapefruit, 1 slice of toast, 2 Tbsps. peanut butter
Lunch - ½ cup of tuna, 1 slice of toast, coffee or tea
Dinner - 2 slices any type of meat (about 3 oz.), 1 cup string beans, 1 cup peas or carrots,
1 small apple, 1 cup low-fat frozen yogurt

Second Day:

Breakfast -1 egg, ½ bananas, 1 slice of toast, black coffee or tea
Lunch - 1 cup of cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers
Dinner -1 skinless chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli, ½ cup carrots, ½ banana, ½ cup low fat
frozen yogurt

Third Day:

Breakfast -5 saltine crackers, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1 small apple, black coffee or tea
Lunch - 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice of toast
Dinner -1 cup of tuna, 1 cup of peas or carrots, 1 cup of cauliflower, ½ cantaloupes, ½
cup low-fat frozen yogurt

Diet works on chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and pepper may be used but no other seasonings. Where no quantity is given, there are no restrictions, other than common sense. This diet is to be used three days at a time. Fluid consumption is important. You may have all the coffee, tea, or water you like. If possible, drink at least eight glasses of water daily. Artificial sweetener and lemon may be used. Please refrain from any colas or other carbonated beverages while you’re on the three-day diet because the carbonation will slow down the chemical breakdown.

In three days, you can lose up to 10 pounds. After three days of dieting, you may eat normal food, but do not overdo it. After four days of normal eating, you can start back on your three-day diet. As with any diet, contact your doctor and get his advice concerning exercise and fluid intake.
